It's really nice to wander around the beautiful gardens and enjoy a little sanctuary from the world. There's little paths through the different areas. The flowers smell absolutely devine!

Hidden gem in the Midwest! Try to go in June when the day lillies are blooming. They also have a nice rose garden.

Beautiful place for a wedding! Our daughter’s wedding was held here in May 2026 and it was perfect. Laurna is so helpful and easy to work with. The garden is a dream and the historic home easily holds 60-65 guests for a reception. This is not a full service venue so I recommend a wedding planner to pull off your event! (We used Something Borrowed of Owensboro bc they know the venue and area vendors—and this wedding came off without a hitch bc of their efforts.) We are new fans of Owensboro bc of the Gardens. Our families and friends will cherish this special day!

This botanical garden is absolutely stunning. The $8 entrance fee is very reasonable, especially given the beauty and care that has gone into maintaining the grounds. The gardens are immaculate, with an abundance of plants and several scenic walking paths that wind gracefully throughout the property. The atmosphere is tranquil and serene, making it the perfect place to relax, reflect, and enjoy nature.

Went today for the first time after having it saved for years on maps. It was well kept grounds, perfect weather today to tour the grounds. We enjoyed the beautiful flowers, trees, and landscaping. The fountains were also beautiful and peaceful. The place provided lots of seating and benches to relax along the way or enjoy the scenery. We paid $8 per adult to get in. Anyone who lives in the area should at least visit once.
